An example would be, the kids at school pick at you, then you will think the issue is the kids at school. The real issue can be the two kids in your class pick at you. Make sure you understand the difference between those two statements.

2. Be aware of thoughts

Just like the example from the kids at school, understand that sometimes you can make an issue bigger in your mind than it actually is.
