The truth is that it has less to do with being an introvert than you think. Before you try to label yourself in a box, explore what it means to be an introvert.

An introvert is a person that internally interprets and analyzes external experiences and concepts. 

Being introverted affects your social life but limits what you are capable of doing.

Companionship is a natural part of being a human, and everyone desires some form of it. Many introverts enjoy being around people and look to put themselves in situations to be around people.

Your comfort with being alone has to do with what is important to you and your willingness to be around people.

People that fall under the label of introverts have lots of friends, are leaders of groups, and are great at communicating.

Socializing is a skill that has to be developed no matter who you are and varies based on an individual’s own experience. People develop their social skills at their own pace. 

Introverts are more in tune with their perspective and interpretation of everyday life.

You have to look at how you approach life and observe the tendencies that you have.

To truly understand if you are an introvert, you much also understand what an extrovert is. No one is one hundred percent an introvert people tend to fall somewhere in between the spectrum of being an introvert and an extrovert.
