Novak Djokovic facing deportation

The #1 Men tennis star Novak Djokovic is facing deportation from Australia after having his visa accepted twice. Djokovic was allowed into the country cause of an exemption he received for already having Covid-19. Australia’s immigration minister has canceled his Visa, which makes it the second time and making a case to deport Djokovic. The case is made by the immigration minister is not because of the validity of the exemption but because of his celebrity status and being unvaccinated disrupting public order.

Joe Judge Fired from NY Giants

After two years with the Giants, Joe Judge has been fired. The decision came after the general manager Dave Gettleman retired. The Giants plan to hire a new general manager then let the new gm hire the new coach.

NFL Playoffs Begun

Saturday was the beginning of the NFL Playoffs with two games. The first game was the Las Vegas Raiders and the Cincinnati Bengals. Bengals led the whole game, but the Raiders held in with a chance to tie in the last few minutes of the 4th quarter. Bengals win 26-19.

In the second game, The New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills are playing to move further in the playoffs. This game was a no-contest as the Bills was in the lead the entire game. Bills win 47-17.

Friday morning on Twitter Elon Musk, announced Tesla merchandise can be purchased with Dogecoin. The value of Dogecoin rose because of the announcement. A couple of the items that can be purchased with Dogecoin are a Cybertruck whistle and a belt buckle.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are tying the knot

Machine Gun Kelly decided to surprise Megan Fox, asking for her hand in marriage. They have been together since 2020. Kelly proposed where they first became a couple.

Olivia Culpo made to cover up by an airline

Olivia Culpo is a model and a former Miss Universe. Thursday, while Olivia was about to take a flight to Cabo, she was told to cover up or she would not be able to fly with American Airlines. Olivia and her sister posted what she was wearing and commented on how unfair she was treated. Olivia then used her boyfriend’s hoodie to cover up and board the flight.

Ex-cop will be Released early

Former Chicago cop Jason Van Dyke will be released early after serving 39 months of 81 months sentence. Jason Van Dyke was convicted of second-degree murder and 16 counts of aggravated battery for the shooting of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald in 2014.

January 6 rioters appear in court

Thursday, some of the rioters in the attack of the capitol on January 6 appeared in court. The rioters are facing Conspiracy charges for the attack. The leader of the Oath Keepers who participated in the riot plead not guilty to charges.

Dr. Maya Angelou is on a quarter

The United States Mint has shipped quarters honoring Dr. Maya Angelou. The quarter is the first in the mint’s American Women Quarter program. The American Women Quarter Program is a four-year program to recognize women's accomplishments in the United States. Four other quarters are scheduled to be released this year.
